Caldwell County sophomore Claire Knoth shot a 15-over-par 87 on Saturday in the Marshall County Invitational golf tournament at Calvert City Country Club.
Knoth finished in 32nd place in a deep field of 78 golfers.
Ashland Blazer senior Kate Hanni captured medalist honors with a 3-under 69.
Hanni was one of four players to shoot under par for the round.
Marshall County seventh grader Trinity Beth was runner-up with a 70 while South Warren’s Faith Martin and Marshall’s Savannah Howell each shot 71.
Marshall won the team championship in its own tournament with a 299. South Warren was runner-up at 318.
