Lady Maroons Claim 4th Place at Lady Marshal Invitational

Madisonville brought home a fourth-place finish Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational played at the Calvert City Golf and Country Club.

Kaitlyn Zieba led the Lady Maroon scoring with a round of 78, good for 11^th place.  Kat Weir added an 84 that tied her for 20^th place.  Karra Tucker shot an 86, and Stella Knight came in with a 90.

Kate Hanni of Ashland Blazer shot a 3-under 69 to win the invitational. Trinity Beth of Marshall County finished in second place one shot back.

Madisonville’s team score of 338 was fourth overall and tops among Region 2 schools.  They finished 39 shots behind the winner, Marshall County.  South Warren [318] was second, and Glasgow [324] was third.
