Caldwell County’s boys opened their soccer season Monday night but dropped a 4-1 decision at Mayfield.
The Tigers’ lone goal was scored by Blake Vivrette with Ethan Weatherspoon picking up the assist.
Mayfield also won the junior varsity contest 3-0.
Caldwell will play again next Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7th District foe Hopkins County Central.
