The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons are off to a 2-0 start after taking down five-time defending 2nd Region champion Henderson County 3-1 on Thursday.
The Lady Maroons picked up a 25-13, 25-18, 24-26, 25-10 decision on their home floor.
That follows a 3-2 triumph (16-25, 20-25, 25-11, 25-19, 15-11) over Ohio County on Tuesday.
Kaitlyn Orange had 13 kills and 16 digs while Natalie Collier had 10 kills and 13 digs in the win over Henderson County.
Amya King had 20 assists and 10 digs for the Lady Maroons while Alexis Fliehman had a team-high 19 digs.
Arian Gregory added 12 digs while Kendrea White had three kills, a block and five digs. Ellie Hughes recorded two kills and a block against Henderson.
Madisonville’s girls will visit Crittenden County on Saturday.
