The Caldwell County defense came up big in its season opener against Crittenden County.
The Tigers returned an interception for a touchdown, recorded a safety and posted a shutout in the first game as head coach for Will Barnes.
Caldwell led 8-0 at halftime on the way to a 22-0 triumph Friday night in Princeton.
