Maddie Huddleston recorded her best-ever finish at the All-A Classic State Golf Tournament with a 32nd place finish Saturday in Richmond.
The Dawson Springs junior carded an 89 at the University Club at Arlington course. She went out with a 44 and recorded three pars on the back nine to come in with a 45.
Lexington Christian Academy’s Carter Lankford shot a 3-under 69 to claim the individual state title. Glasgow’s Nina McMurtrey and Lankford’s teammate C.A. Carter tied for second at 1-under 71.
Natalee Oldham finished in 71st with a round of 117 followed by Maddie Back and Brylee Spurlin who tied for 75th with a 125.
As a team, Dawson Springs finished in 10th place with a score of 456.
