Kael Knight had two goals and an assist as Madisonville-North Hopkins claimed a 7th District clash 3-0 at Hopkins County Central on Saturday.
Knight’s first goal came with 10 minutes left in the first half to put the Maroons up 1-0. Ivan Juarez assisted on the play.
Juarez then added a goal of his own just before the break to make it a 2-0 game. Knight picked up the assist on that goal.
Knight scored again with 25 minutes left in the game to help Madisonville salt the game away at 3-0.
Will Sampson needed to make just two saves to record the shutout in the net for the Maroons.
