The Fort Campbell girls’ cross country team opened its season at the Trigg County Mike Wright Cross Country Classic on Saturday morning, with the Lady Falcons placing three runners in the top-25 finishers. The steady performance led to a 3rd-place showing, finishing behind 1st-place Graves County and runners-up Crittenden County.
Emma Cogbill crossed the line first for the Lady Falcons, running 15th with a time of 11:23.75. Alexandra Stearns was five spots back with an 11:56.42, followed in 23rd by Sophie Lacy at 12:20.65.
Caroline Hazzard navigated the mile-and-a-half course in 12:42.16, with Sunny Joo finished in 13:17.57.
