Due to the threat of bad weather on Saturday at the Trigg County Mike Wright Cross Country Classic, the boys and girls teams ran together in the afternoon session. The Hopkins County Central boys and girls were among the five teams competing, with Brendan Harper and Kaleb Gamble leading the Storm effort.
Harper ran a 9:14.47 to finish 8th, followed for the Storm by Gamble in 9th with a 9:24.20. Brody Duncan was 20th with a time of 9:57.26, Mason McConnell had a 12:17.25, and Sam Martin finished in 12:24.62.
For the girls, Raven Miller ran 11th with a 12:05.03, and Sienna Welch was 14th with a 12:30.25. Sarah Keown finished 16th with a time of 13:16.88, Kailey Carney was a spot back at 13:33.88, Jaclyn Egbert ran a 14:09.73, and Leanna Carney crossed in 14:24.26.
