University Heights Academy was among the schools that sent runners across the river Saturday to take part in the boys side of the Mater Dei Cross Country Invite. The Blazers returned from the event with an individual top five finish.
The Blazers’ Tomas Duncan finished his run over the course with a time of 16:54.64. That time was good enough to put him in 5th place individually. Brady Terry, of Daviess County, won the meet, with Hopkinsville’s Chase Atkins finishing 2nd.
UHA’s Chase Hendricks finished in 36th place. Hendricks logged a time of 19:32.72.
