WKDZ Radio and the Edge Media Group are teaming up for a Wildcat Wednesday fundraiser for the Trigg County High School Athletic Department.
Fall sports are being played with attendance restrictions due to COVID-19 concerns. The lack of gate proceeds and other game-related income will have a drastic financial impact on the entire Trigg County Athletics Program. WDKZ will be hosting the fundraiser on the air throughout the day Wednesday, Sept. 16 to help the athletic program try and recoup some of the revenue loss.
WKDZ will have special guests to include Wildcat coaches and athletes on the air throughout the day as it takes donations for Trigg County High School sports. Donations may be dropped off at the WKDZ Studios on D.J. Everett Drive in Cadiz or may be made online at the Big Deals Store at wkdzradio.com.
The Cadiz Rotary Club has announced they will match the first $10,000 raised during Wildcat Wednesday. Lake Barkley State Resort Park has donated a two-night cabin stay to include breakfast and dinner for two that will be auctioned off at the Big Deals Store at wkdzradio.com.
