The KHSAA has voted to consider multiple days to run the state cross country meets in November in Lexington.
In the past, the boys’ and girls’ races in Classes 1A, 2A, and 3A were held on a single Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Following Wednesday’s vote, the state meet races could be held on Friday, Nov. 7, Saturday, Nov. 8, or Sunday, Nov. 9. Commissioner Julian Tackett said several proposals are being considered that include running one class on Friday and the other two on Saturday or running two on Saturday and one on Sunday.
