Webster County Gets Past Lady Blazers in Four Sets

A tough stretch on the volleyball court continued Thursday night for the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers. The Lady Blazers made the road trip to Dixon and fell to the Webster County Lady Trojans in four sets.

UHA opened the match taking a hard fought first set 26-24.

Webster County then came batting back to roll through the second set 25-12 and even the match at one set each.

The third set was a tough battle, with the Lady Trojans taking the set 25-20 to go up two sets to one. Webster County then closed out the match by taking the fourth set 25-21.

The Blazers ended up with 28 team kills, and 70 digs. Beth Peebles and Sarah Peebles each had 14 set assists.

The loss, which is the third in a row for the Lady Blazers, drops UHA to 1-3 on the season. Webster County improves to 3-1.
