Bryan Sets UHA Single Game Scoring Record as Blazers Roll Webster

With William Bryan leading the way, the University Heights Academy Blazers broke open a close match at the half with a second half offensive onslaught. The Blazers netted seven goals over the final forty minutes as they rolled past Webster County 10-1.

It was a record setting night for Bryan, who set the single game UHA scoring record with eight goals, breaking the record at the 72:00 mark to wrap up the scoring for the night.

Bryan scored three of his goals in the first half, coming at the 6:00 mark, the 16:00 mark, and the 25:00 mark.

Leading 3-1 at the half, UHA scored four goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half. Bryan scored the first three of half in a seven minute span coming out of the break.

UHA’s other goals came from Noah Shouse, who scored on header off a corner kick, and from Connor Dill on an assist by Bryan.

Not only did the Blazer offense get revved up in the second half, the defense found another gear as well. UHA limited Webster County to just two shots after the break. For the night, the Blazers outshot the Trojans 24 to 9.

UHA improves to 3-0 on the season, having given up only one goal in its first three matches of the 2020 season. Webster County falls to 2-2.
