Perfect weather was the order of the morning as the Fort Campbell Falcons cross country team headed off to Muhlenberg County to take part in the Mustang Stampede. The Falcons finished the 2500m run with a total of 196 points, putting them in 7th place.
Madisonville-North Hopkins took 1st place in the meet. Muhlenberg County finished 2nd, while Webster County took 3rd.
Individually, Grant Shrader was the top Falcon runner with a time of 9:01.24, putting him in 29th place for the meet.
