Todd County Central did not allow a goal in regulation for the third straight contest. However, an overtime goal was the only one scored in Saturday’s Fourth Region Boys’ All-A Classic championship, and it came from Glasgow.
Lucio Molina hammered home a left-footed shot three minutes into sudden-death overtime to lift Glasgow to the 1-0 win. Last year, the Rebels lost 9-0 to Glasgow in the All-A tourney.
Todd County Central had trouble creating opportunities on offense as they were outshot 11-5 in the contest. However, its defense kept them in the game once again.
Jonah Rager made six saves in goal for the Rebels, who fell to 2-4 with the loss. Glasgow improved to 4-1 with the win.
Todd County Central will host Lyon County Monday.
