Cathryn Brown rebounded from a rough start to finish in 24th place at the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association All-State Tournament at the University Club of Kentucky.
The Lyon County sophomore started with a 46 on the front nine of the Wildcat course Saturday. She shot a 39 on the back nine to finish with a round of 85.
Sunday treated Brown much better as she birdied the second hole and had pars on seven of the nine holes on the back nine to finish with a 78.
Bullitt East’s Macie Brown won the event at 2-under. The event covers two days and features the top golfers in the state based on All-State points.
