James Folz finished 44th Sunday at the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association All-State Championship, which brought the best golfers in the state to the University Club of Kentucky.
The Hopkinsville senior shot a 74 Saturday on the Big Blue course that included two birdies and 12 pars. On Sunday, Folz birdied the first hole but could not replicate another over the next 17 holes to shoot an 81. He finished at 12-over par. Rylan Wotherspoon of Cooper High won the annual event at 3-under par.
The event covers two days and features the top golfers in the state based on All-State points.
