After a two-game home stretch, the Trigg County volleyball team hit the road Monday, coming up short 0-3 to hosts Murray High. The Lady Wildcats slip to 0-4, while Murray evens its record at 4-4.
Trigg County couldn’t muster much offense in the first two sets, falling 25-5 and 25-8. However, the Lady Wildcats put up a fight in the third, ultimately dropping a 25-22 decision.
Trigg will look to bounce back on Tuesday when Union County makes its way to Cadiz. The teams split two meetings last season, with the Lady Wildcats’ last victory coming just under a year ago against the Lady Braves.
