
The Hopkinsville Tigers put an end to their three match losing streak Thursday night. In cool, damp conditions, the Tigers got past Paducah Tilghman 4-1, with a big night from Miguel Magana.
Magana finished his night with a hat trick to lead the way for the Tigers. Ryan Lawrence scored the other goal for Hopkinsville. He also assisted on one of Magana’s three goals. Will Knight added an assist for the Tigers.
In goal, Zach Moss stepped up with five saves on the night for the Tigers.
The win improves the Tigers to 2-4 on the season. The Blue Tornado fall to 0-6.
Hopkinsville is scheduled to return to action Monday night when they host Trigg County at the Stadium of Champions.
