Reagan Hodge recorded her first hat trick as Caldwell County’s girls routed Paducah St. Mary 8-1 Saturday night at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
Kaylee McEnaney added two goals and two assists for the Lady Tigers, who are now 4-2.
Hodge, a junior, netted the game’s first goal just 3 minutes in, getting help from Hannah Young to put Caldwell up 1-0.
Young then scored in the 6th minute to make it 2-0, with McEnaney picking up her first assist.
Keegan Miller found the net in the 10th minute to quickly put Caldwell up 3-0. McEnaney’s second assist came on that play.
Nevaeh Stoltenberg scored on a penalty kick in the 13th minute to extend the margin to 4-0.
McEnaney struck for her first goal later in the first half, with Miller getting the assist on that play as Caldwell took a 5-0 lead to halftime.
Hodge recorded her second goal in the 62nd minute. Following a corner kick by Young and a header attempt by McEnaney, Hodge was able to score on the rebound.
Hodge struck again just 2 minutes later. Kendall Boyd assisted on the play to make it 7-0.
McEnaney got Caldwell’s last goal, scoring unassisted from 18 yards out in the 70th minute.
St. Mary (2-5) broke up the shutout in the 77th minute when Vanessa Becker found the net.
Rachel McClung recorded four saves for Caldwell while allowing just the one goal.
The Lady Tigers will play at home again on Tuesday, hosting Lyon County as part of a Senior Night boys and girls doubleheader.
