Tomas Duncan’s first place finish led the way for the University Heights Academy Blazers at the Warren East Raider Twilight. Running in the blue division of the high school boys 5000, Duncan finished with a time of 16:31.4, nearly 28 seconds ahead of second place finisher Hunter Clemons, of South Warren.
Duncan was among four UHA runners to compete in the division.

In the girls’ competition at the event, UHA’s Rebecca Fitzpatrick registered a 50th place finish in the gold division of the girls’ 5000 with a time of 30:04.2
