Heritage Christian Academy picked up a senior day soccer win over Immaculata Classical Academy Saturday to the tune of 7-0 at Warrior Field. The teams were supposed to play a second game, but the Louisville school opted to head home instead.
Six different Warriors scored goals on the afternoon, including one each by seniors Ryan Trapnell and Mikie Venable. Walker Ashby, Trenton Hayes, and Vova West also added goals for HCA, and Emilie Young added a tally on a penalty kick.
HCA got assists from Young, Abbi Bullock, and Kris Ruth.
Jacob Young and Ruth split time in goal for the Warriors, whose defense did not allow a single shot.
HCA improves to 3-1 on the season, including a 2-1 mark in KCAA play. The Warriors entered the weekend ranked No. 3 in the KCAA Power Poll, while Immaculata was No. 6.
Heritage will play No. 2 Assumption Friday in Elizabethtown.
