Abby Griggs had 14 kills and a block as Caldwell County’s volleybal team rolled to a 3-0 victory at 7th District rival Hopkins County Central on Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers did not surrender so much as a point in the first set, taking the match 25-0, 25-9, 25-12.
It was the sixth straight win for Caldwell, which is 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the district.
Hopkins Central is 2-7 and 0-2.
Olivia Mitchell added nine kills, 12 digs and four aces for Caldwell while Savannah Scott had six kills.
Mary Tays recorded three kills, five digs and three aces while Riley Thomas had 12 digs.
Kendyll Prowell tallied 31 set assists and a kill.
Kynady Thomas added a kill. Adi Sullenger had 11 aces and three digs while Kyndra Winters had five aces.
Caldwell next plays at home on Thursday against Fort Campbell.
The Lady Storm will go to University Heights Academy on Thursday.
