Coming off a tough loss to Trigg County Monday night at the Stadium of Champions, the Hopkinsville Tigers hit the road to Logan County Tuesday evening to face off with the Cougars. The trip turned out to be just the medicine the Tigers needed, as Hopkinsville came away with a 5-0 win.
The win was the second in the last three matches for the Tigers. It was also the Tigers second shutout win of the 2020 season.
With the win, Hopkinsville improves to 3-5 on the year.
Hopkinsville is now scheduled to finish out the regular season with a pair of road trips. Thursday, the Tigers travel to Bowling Green to take on Greenwood. The following Thursday, Hopkinsville will travel to take on Apollo.
