
The Christian County girls’ soccer team picked up its second win of the season on Thursday night, crushing hosts Union County 11-1 behind five goals from Autumn Bell.
Bell opened the scoring off an assist from Emma Fleming, before Alexus Hendrix doubled the advantage. Hendrix turned provider on a goal by Alayah Lander, followed by back-to-back unassisted strikes by Lilly Larkins.
Bell scored the next two off assists from Lander and Larkins, with Emma Fleming finding the back of the net for an 8-1 Christian County lead at the half.
Hendrix was on target off an assist from Addison Piatt to open the second half, before Bell finished off the mercy-rule victory with an unassisted goal and another with help from Larkins.
The Lady Colonels have the weekend off before closing out the regular season with a visit from Calloway County on Monday.
