The Caldwell County Tiger football team has an important Class 2A 1st District date at Mayfield Friday night.
Both teams are 2-1 and ranked in the Top 10 in 2A state polls.
Caldwell is looking for its first win over the Cardinals at War Memorial Stadium in 12 years.
Tiger senior quarterback/linebacker Russ Beshear says it will take four quarters of good football for Caldwell to leave Mayfield with a victory.
