
The Lyon County boys’ soccer team found goals hard to come by during Thursday night’s visit from St. Mary, dropping a 4-1 decision to the Vikings. The Lyons slip to 3-5-1, while St. Mary wins its third-straight to end the regular season at 7-3-1.
Timothy Stewart scored the lone goal for the Lyons, his fifth of the season. Todd Huddleston provided his team-leading fifth assist, with goalkeeper Cole Schroeder making twenty-five saves to keep Lyon County in the game.
With the Russellville Panther Classic canceled, the Lyons’ next match will be a visit from Graves County on Tuesday.
