Hopkinsville dropped a pair of volleyball matches to First Region schools Saturday at the Quad State Tournament played in Paducah.
The Lady Tigers dropped a close 26-24, 25-15 match to Paducah Tilghman [5-3] in the opener. Hailey Hallmark had another strong game at the net with three kills and five solo blocks. Karenna Chaudoin and Averie Turner both had a pair of kills with Alyssa Bearns contributing three aces and seven assists. Lauren Watkins had four digs.
Hoptown dropped a 25-11, 25-9 decision to Graves County later in the day – their second loss to the Lady Eagles [10-8] in 2020.
Hallmark had five kills and Bearns added six assists for the Lady Tigers [3-10] who will host Apollo Tuesday.
