Hopkinsville senior Chase Atkins turned in a sub-16 minute time for the third time this cross country season at the Louisville XC Classic Saturday.
Atkins covered the 3.1-mile course in 15:56, which is four seconds off his personal best time set last year. He finished second in his race segment behind Scott County’s Tyler Walker. Atkins’ time was seventh fastest out of 155 runners in the race.
