Lady Falcons Cruise to Second Place Finish at Trigg County

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcon cross country team finished second Saturday at the Fenton Dawson Memorial Invitational Saturday at Trigg County.

Emma Cogbill led the Lady Falcons with a ninth-place finish over the 3.1-mile course in a time of 22:58.  It was the first time this season that Cogbill and the Lady Falcons competed at the 5,000 meter distance.

Alexandra Stearns was 12^th in a time of 24:38 with Sophie Lacy coming in 21^st in 25:45. Sunny Joo was 25^th, followed by Abigail Eastes in 32^nd, Caroline Hazard 33^rd, Ella Plumb 37^th, and Melinda Cuentas in 49^th place.

Fort Campbell’s top five runners totaled 70 points to finish second in the team standings behind Marshall County [56].
