The Lyon County girls’ soccer team saw a two-game winning run come to an end in its regular-season finale on Tuesday night, falling 5-3 to visiting Graves County.  The Lady Lyons are off until next Thursday when they will meet the winner of Tuesday’s 5th-District semifinal between Trigg County and Crittenden County.

Lyon County got a goal each from Leah Schroeder, Olivia Adams, and Sydney Hoffman, with an assist from Rose Smith.  Maddie Russell had 25 saves to keep the Lady Lyons in the game.

The three goals tie the most the Lady Eagles have allowed this season, while they improve to 9-3 after winning three of four.  The Lady Lyons go to the postseason at 7-5 overall, winners of seven of nine.
