
Six players scored on Tuesday night for the Trigg County girls’ soccer team and they held hosts Union County to a single goal to earn a 9-1 victory, their third in as many tries. The Lady Wildcats have outscored their opposition 21-2 during the winning run, improving their record to 5-3-1.
For the Lady Wildcats, Allie Hill, Laina Hite, and Kara Southwood each scored twice, the third-straight outing Hite has found the net multiple times. DeDe Barbee, Olivia Noffsinger, and Jayne Dearth each added a goal.
The win wraps up the Lady Wildcats’ regular-season slate ahead of a first-round 5th-District match with hosts Crittenden County on Tuesday. Trigg beat the Lady Rockets 5-2 at home earlier this season.
