
The Hopkinsville boys’ soccer team wrapped up its regular-season schedule at Apollo on Thursday night, falling 4-0 to the host Eagles. Apollo picks up its fourth win in five tries, while also collecting their third shutout of the season.
Goalkeeper Zach Moss made four saves for the Tigers, but couldn’t slow the Eagle attack led by Harrison Bowman’s two goals and an assist. Teranse Twihenya had a goal and a pair of assists, with Eh Wah and Carter Kopczynski each notching an assist. Goalkeeper Steven Teran made three saves to earn the victory.
The Tigers now prepare for an 8th-District showdown with Christian County to determine who will play UHA in the championship match. Hoptown topped the Colonels 3-0 in the regular-season matchup.
