The putts that fell for Madisonville’s Jackson Hill in Tuesday’s first-round didn’t repeat on Wednesday. The Maroon junior finished in a tie for 29th at the state golf tournament at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Hill shot a 2-over 74 in Tuesday’s first-round and followed with a 9-over 81 Wednesday. He did manage a birdie on the 18th hole in the second round.
Hill was making his fourth straight state tourney appearance and says he will use his 2020 finish to fuel him in 2021.
