It will finally be the home opener for the Christian County Colonels Friday night when the Bowling Green Purples come to the Stadium of Champions. Officials with the Christian County Public Schools have announced the attendance details for the game.
The game is slated to start at 7:00, with gates to open at 5:15pm.
No game tickets will be sold at the gates. All tickets for the contest will be sold online using the GoFan website. Per State of Kentucky guidelines, they will be operating at lower capacity for stadium seating, with up to 1400 fans on the home side and up to 600 fans on the vistors’ side. Players and Coaches will get the first priority/access to purchase tickets for the game. This is a Christian County Public Schools directive.
All CCHS fans will enter on the home side gate of the stadium. All BGHS fans will enter on the visitors side gate. There will be no public access to the field of play.
All fans with proof of ticket purchase will enter the gate on their respective side and will undergo temperature screening before entering the stadium. If you refuse to follow these guidelines, you will not enter the stadium. Fans will EXIT the Stadium upon completion of the game immediately. Both gates will be open for fan exits on the home side, and it is asked that you do this in a timely manner.
All fans who enter the stadium are to remain in the stadium. There will be NO RE-ENTRY once you leave the athletic facilities.
Upon entrance to the stadium you will see multiple signs/signage about Mandated Health Guidelines for entering the stadium. While inside the stadium, ALL FANS MUST WEAR MASKS FOR THE DURATION OF TIME INSIDE THE STADIUM.
For those who do not follow these Guidelines and Rules, you will be asked to leave and you will be banned from stadium events for this year. Announcements will be made reminding all fans about this. Please do your best to keep all fans, families, players and coaches safe.
Fans are to follow social distancing guideline,s staying 6 feet apart at all times. Immediate families are allowed to sit together. Masks will continue to be worn while inside the Stadium.
Before, during, and after the game there will be NO FANS ALLOWED on the field of play or track.
The CCHS band will man the concessions stand on the visiting side of the Stadium. CCHS Football Boosters will handle concessions on the home side. All concession food items will be pre-packaged and only bottle drinks will be available.
