You know it is not the way that they wanted their season to end. School officials have confirmed to YourSportsEdge.Com that the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons volleyball team is finished for the 2020 season.

The team has been placed on quarantine, due to COVID-19 concerns, which will knock them out of competing in next week’s 8th District tourney, thus ending the Lady Falcons’ season.

DoDEA initially announced August 11 that high school sports at military installations at Health Protection Condition level Bravo, such as Fort Campbell, would not be allowed to play high school sports with a high or moderate infection risk such as football, soccer, and volleyball due to COVID-19 concerns.

However, on September 12, Fort Campbell announced that they had been given approval to start volleyball competition once again by the DoDEA. The Lady Falcons returned to the court for their first match on September 19 in the All A Classic.

During their time back on the court, the Lady Falcons were able to have 12 matches, going 4-8 during that time period.
