District Tournament Volleyball Gets Rolling Monday

The postseason for high school volleyball in Kentucky will get underway with action across the state on Monday. Several area teams will see action on the opening night of play.

The Todd County Central Lady Rebels will take to the court Monday evening. The Lady Rebels will take on Franklin Simpson in the second semifinal match Monday night at Logan County High School. The Lady Rebels won the only regular season matchup between the two teams, winning in Franklin 20-25, 25-22, 25-15, and 25-19. The match is set to get rolling at 8pm.

The first semifinal in the 13th District will find host Logan County taking on Russellville. The Lady Cougars swept the Lady Panthers in their regular season match.

In the 6th District, Webster County will take on Union County at 6pm Monday evening at Union County. The Lady Trojans swept the Bravettes in their only meeting of the regular season back on October 12.
