Officials with the Kentucky High School Athletic Association have announced that the pairings for the 2020 KHSAA boys’ and girls’ soccer, and volleyball state tournaments will be announced Monday. The pairings will be announced during the annual Fall Championship Draw Show at the KHSAA offices.
The 2020 KHSAA state soccer championships open with the semi-state matches on October 24, followed by the quarterfinals on campus sites October 26. The semifinals, on October 28-29, and the finals, October 31, will move to Lexington and be played at a Fayette County Public School.
The format for the KHSAA state volleyball tournament will be different this year, with first round matches played on campus sites before the final eight teams head to Valley High School in Louisville. Quarterfinal matches will be played on Friday, November 6, with the semifinals set for the morning of Saturday, November 7 followed by the championship that evening.
