
When the KHSAA announced that fall sports would be able to take place, it was one possibility they acknowledged could happen. And, Monday morning it was announced that it had happened in the boys’ 4th Region soccer tournament.
According to a report from 104.7 “The Score”, officials at Glasgow High School announced that their boys soccer team would be forfeiting its regional semifinal game Tuesday night against Warren Central due to the team going into quarantine. The report states that there has been a positive COVID-19 test among members of the team.
The Scotties had won their regional quarterfinal round match against Russell County over the weekend. They were set to take on the Dragons Tuesday evening at 6pm.
Warren Central would now advance on to the 4th Region championship game.
