Lady Falcons Place Seventh at Wildcat Wilderness Invitational

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcon cross country team took seventh place at the Franklin-Simpson Wildcat Wilderness Invitational Saturday.

The Lady Falcons totaled 182 points.  Grayson County won with 61 points, which was three points better than second-place Barren County.  Fort Campbell finished eight points ahead of eighth-place Logan County in the team standings.

Emma Cogbill again led the Lady Falcon runners with a 22nd place finish.  She covered the 3.1-mile course in a time of 22:51.

Alexandra Stearns was 39th in 24:15.  Sunny Joo was 54th in a time of 25:26, which was one second faster than teammate Sophie Lacy who was 55th.

Abby Eastes was 65th in 26:19, followed by Ella Plumb in 70th and Caroline Hazard in 71st.  Melinda Cuentas was 89th, and Savannah Childs was 92nd.
