The Trigg County Lady Wildcats saw their 2020 volleyball season come to an end Tuesday evening. The Lady Wildcats fell in straight sets to Livingston Central on the Lady Cardinals home court in the semifinal round of the 5th District tournament.
Livingston Central opened the evening strong and controlled the flow of play throughout the evening. The Lady Cardinals took the opening set 25-10 to go up one set to none in the match.
The Lady Wildcats played their best of the evening in the second set. Still, Livingston Central was able to win the set 25-19 to take a two sets to none lead in the match.
The third set was much like the first. The Lady Cardinals cruised to a 25-13 win in the set to close out the match three sets to none.
The match marked the Lady Cardinals second win over the Lady Wildcats in five days and third during the 2020 season.
Trigg County sees their season come to an end with a record of 1-13.
