Todd County Central couldn’t overcome a slow start in the 13th District championship and fell to Logan County in straight sets 25-12, 25-16, 25-21. The championship is the 18th straight for the Lady Cougar volleyball program.
One night after struggling through 11 service errors in a straight-set win over Franklin-Simpson in the semifinals, the Lady Rebels had eight more Tuesday.
“We got off to a slow start as we often do, but we finally settled in and started putting up a fight,” Lady Rebel coach Stephanie Conquest said.
Both Todd County Central [10-11] and Logan County [13-8] will advance to next week’s Fourth Region Tournament at Russell County High School.
