Trigg County’s girls will play in the 2nd Region semifinals Wednesday night after outlasting Webster County 1-0 in a penalty-kick shootout in Tuesday’s first round.
The shootout took seven rounds before the Lady Wildcats won the shootout 4-3 after the teams played through 80 minutes of regulation and 10 minutes of overtime without a goal in Henderson.
