Dawson Springs Sends Two Runners to Region Meet

Dawson Springs sent a pair of runners to compete in the girls’ Region I Cross Country Meet Saturday at Calloway County High School.

Junior Vanessa Tackett finished in 31^st place in a time of 30:25 over the 3.1-mile course, while Ivory Tackett, a senior, finished in 37^th place in 32:54.

St. Mary seventh-grader Gabby Ault won the girls’ 1A race with Crittenden County’s Kate Keller finishing second.
