Hopkinsville senior Chase Atkins set a school record with a time of 15:25 in Saturday’s Class 3A Region 1 Cross Country Meet at Muhlenberg County.
That earned him a runner-up finish individually, just over 10 seconds behind Jackson Watts of Madisonville-North Hopkins.
