Caldwell County senior Riley Thomas had the serve as the Lady Tigers finished off Henderson County 3-0 in the first round of the 2nd Region tournament on Monday.
Caldwell, which had fallen to Henderson in five straight regional tourneys, claimed a 25-12, 25-22, 25-19 decision to advance to Tuesday’s semifinals.
