Lady Falcons Finish 19th at State Cross Country Meet

Fort Campbell ran its way to a 19^th place finish Saturday at the Class 1A State Cross Country Meet in Paris.

Emma Cogbill was the first Lady Falcon across the finish line in 76^th place. She ran a time of 23:38 over the 3.1-mile course.

Alex Starnes was less than a half-minute behind Cogbill. She finished in 85^th place in 24:06.

Sunny Joo was 119^th in 25:12, and seventh-grader Sophie Lacy was 121^st in her first state meet with a time of 25:13.

Caroline Hazard, also a seventh-grader in her first state meet was 169^th, followed by Abigail Eastes in 171^st, and Ella Plumb in 196^th.

As a team, Fort Campbell was 19^th with 448 points.
