Jiles Wyatt has become the second golfer from Hopkinsville in the past week to commit to Centre College for golf. The University Heights Academy senior made his announcement on social media Monday evening.
Wyatt was an All-Region selection in 2019 and 2020 after finishing as the All-A region runner-up in September.
He finished fourth at both the Christian County and Union County Invitationals early in the season and was 11th at the Marshall County Invite.
He qualified for the state tournament as a junior with a third-place finish at region.
Wyatt is the second UHA golfer in as many seasons to make the leap to the college level, joining Weston Wood who is in his freshman season at Brescia University.
Wyatt will join Hopkinsville High golfer James Folz, who committed to Centre last week.
