Jacob Wease has continued a two-decades-old trend of Trigg County quarterbacks cutting their teeth as sophomores. He is hoping the improvement others saw will continue for him as well.
Wease has thrown 1,347 yards and 15 touchdowns this season while starting every game. He is closing in on entering the Trigg County single-season top-5 in several passing categories as the Wildcats close out the regular season at Warren Central Friday.
The Wildcat sophomore is also looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Caldwell County that saw him throw two interceptions that were returned for a touchdown. He says every game is a learning experience that will help make him a better quarterback.
